Returning to the community after incarceration can come with significant barriers—finding stable housing, obtaining identification, securing employment, rebuilding relationships, accessing recovery resources, and navigating everyday responsibilities.
Alpha & Omega Community Center (AOCC) provides supportive services designed to help returning citizens move from transition toward stability, independence, and meaningful community participation.
Our approach recognizes that successful reentry is more than simply returning home. It is about having access to the resources, relationships, skills, and opportunities needed to build a sustainable future.
Who We Serve
Our Reentry Support Program is designed for adults who are transitioning back into the community following incarceration or who are experiencing barriers related to reentry and community reintegration.
We may support individuals who are:
Returning to the community after incarceration
Transitioning from jail, prison, or community supervision
Experiencing homelessness or housing instability
Seeking employment after incarceration
Working toward recovery from substance use
In need of identification or essential documents
Seeking support with life skills and independent living
Facing barriers to accessing community resources
Seeking safe and supportive services as an LGBTQIA+ individual
Veterans and other vulnerable adults who may benefit from supportive services

Our Reentry Approach
From Reentry to Stability
We believe individuals are more likely to make meaningful progress when they have coordinated support rather than having to navigate every barrier alone.
Our approach connects participants with practical resources and individualized support.
1 – ASSESS
We begin by understanding the participant’s current circumstances, needs, strengths, and goals.
Areas may include:
Housing
Employment
Identification
Recovery
Family and community connections
Financial stability
Life skills
Other barriers to successful reintegration
2 – PLAN
Participants work with the appropriate support staff to identify priorities and establish realistic goals.
Together, we develop an individualized plan focused on immediate needs as well as longer-term stability.
3 – SUPPORT
Participants may receive case management, educational programming, referrals, employment assistance, housing resources, and other supportive services based on their needs.
4 – CONNECT
AOCC works with community partners and service providers to help participants access resources that may fall outside our direct services.
05 – TRANSITION
The long-term goal is to help participants move toward greater independence, including stable housing, employment or education, recovery supports, and stronger connections to the community.
