Tools for Transformation: Workshops & Services

Workshops

  • Power of Thoughts - participants will gain a deep understanding of how their thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors, learning to identify and reshape negative self-talk to support positive change and emotional growth.
  • Recognizing Irrational Thinking - they will develop the ability to quickly recognize irrational thinking and apply practical strategies to challenge and reframe those patterns. In addition, participants will enhance their emotional regulation skills and improve their decision-making capabilities.
  • Identifying Triggers - through this process, they will also gain clarity on personal triggers—whether people, places, situations, or emotions—that contribute to relapse or unhealthy behavior, and begin crafting a realistic, actionable plan to manage or avoid these triggers in real-time.
  • Understanding Substance Abuse - participants will explore the profound impact of substance use and abuse, gaining insight into what it means to be dependent and how substances such as meth, marijuana, fentanyl, and heroin affect the brain, body, and overall well-being. This exploration will be tailored to the group’s level of experience and engagement, allowing for deeper discussion where appropriate.
  • Relapse Prevention Planning - building on this foundation, participants will begin creating a personalized recovery roadmap that outlines high-risk situations, effective coping strategies, and essential support systems—especially valuable for those who have already begun or completed key steps in their recovery journey.
  • Unhealthy vs. Healthy Relationships - participants will learn the key characteristics of healthy relationships—including mutual respect, clear boundaries, and trust—and why these elements are essential for emotional and personal well-being. Through guided reflection, they will explore how to recognize red flags in unhealthy dynamics and understand the roots and patterns of codependency.
  • Breaking the Cycle of Co-dependency - by examining the roles they may have played in codependent relationships, participants will begin developing the skills to set and maintain healthy boundaries, fostering greater autonomy, self-respect, and the ability to build more balanced, supportive connections.
